The Department of Respiratory Care is the primary source for providing respiratory care services to the patients we serve in our hospitals and clinics.  Our mission is to provide continuous, proficient, and optimal age-appropriate care to promote cardiopulmonary wellness and to provide care for cardiopulmonary-compromised patients.  Our mission is to provide a clinical site for our state’s respiratory care and nursing students, and to contribute to research by serving and providing necessary resources and expert opinions.
